Saint Laurent Architecture Design Manager, Paris. Lead retail design strategy and oversee architectural projects across multiple countries. Luxury retail design leader needed.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate and implement the brand's architectural strategy across regional retail locations, maintaining alignment with creative direction and global standards
  • Supervise all regional architectural projects including new store openings, renovations, relocations, extensions, and downsizing initiatives
  • Manage key project phases from concept and design through planning, budgeting, and delivery; ensure quality execution and adherence to timelines, budgets, and design excellence
  • Lead and develop an in-house architecture team; manage external partnerships with local architects, designers, and technical consultants
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and technical conformity across all projects within each country of the region; maintain alignment with headquarters, regional presidents, store planning, and cost control functions
  • Arbitrate key regional decisions on design, materials, budgets, and schedules; guarantee respect for deliverables and quality standards
  • Contribute to design trends, innovation, and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with image, marketing, and customer experience teams

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in retail architecture and design, preferably in luxury or international retail
  • Proven track record managing complex projects including flagship stores, iconic concepts, and special initiatives
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with successful team management
  • Proficiency in design and project delivery processes
  • Strong budget sensitivity and understanding of ROI, CAPEX, and network performance metrics
  • Proficiency with design software including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and V-Ray
  • Strong understanding of project tracking tools and technical coordination methods

Experience
