Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the assembly and construction of tailored garments under the supervision of master tailors
- Assist with cutting operations, interlining application, and preparation of fabric pieces
- Execute hand and machine finishing techniques while progressively mastering traditional tailoring methods
- Observe and support garment fittings, implementing basic alterations according to specifications from modellistes and atelier leadership
- Learn to interpret technical specification sheets and production instructions from the design and modeling teams
- Uphold quality standards, precision tolerances, and production timelines throughout the manufacturing process
- Develop proficiency in handling delicate and noble fabrics specific to tailored garment construction
- Collaborate closely with product development, modeling, and production teams to ensure excellence
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in CAP, Bac professionnel, or BTS Métiers de la Mode with specialization in couture or tailoring
- Prior workshop or apprenticeship experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated passion for traditional tailoring techniques and hand-finishing methods
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for precision and aesthetic refinement
- Strong capacity to learn quickly, follow technical instructions, and thrive in a demanding environment
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills in a collaborative, high-standard atelier setting
