Watchfinder & Co. seeks experienced Watchmaker Level 3 in Madrid to service and repair premium pre-owned timepieces. Full-time position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair watches in accordance with brand-specific guidelines
  • Complete comprehensive servicing of all brand models including mechanical, quartz, ETA-based and modular chronograph movements
  • Test timepieces for accuracy and performance using specialized tools and equipment
  • Inspect all incoming components (dials, cases, hands, crystals, movements) for damage, marks, and scratches against agreed specifications
  • Report quality issues and manage activity flow to guarantee adherence to delivery deadlines
  • Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise while maintaining supportive team collaboration

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise working confidently and accurately with ETA calibres 2824, 2892, and 7750
  • Essential: Prior experience in a production or service centre environment completing full overhauls
  • Prior experience working across multiple watch brands and models
  • Highly organized with demonstrated capability to manage own workload independently
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Experience with MOD movements (desirable but not essential)

Experience

Substantial hands-on experience in watch servicing and repair, with a demonstrable background in a manufacturer-certified or production service centre environment. Must have successfully completed full watch overhauls across multiple brands and movement types.

Education

Formal horological training or equivalent apprenticeship in watchmaking and repair; recognized certifications from established watchmaking institutions or brand-sponsored training programs are preferred.
