- Monitor production systems, investigate incidents, and implement fixes and preventative measures to maintain uptime and security.
- Collaborate with product, design and business stakeholders to translate commercial requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices, documentation and technical roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrable professional experience delivering production web applications (typically 3+ years for mid‑level).
- Proven experience with modern web stacks and API design, plus strong testing and debugging discipline.
- Practical understanding of cloud platforms and containerisation for production deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross‑functional, Agile teams.
Skills
Experience
Mid‑level commercial experience building and running web applications, preferably within e‑commerce or retail technology environments. Experience integrating payments, inventory systems or ERP connectors is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
