The Jewelry Planner/Merchandiser plans and manages merchandise purchasing, receipt, and distribution across assigned departments, partners with the Buyer on departmental strategies, oversees product categories and the MAP system, and leads the merchandising team. This is a permanent, full-time role based at the Sunrise corporate office, with flexibility for occasional work outside standard business hours.
Role & Responsibilities
- Strategically plan, manage, and monitor the purchase, receipt, and distribution of merchandise across assigned departments to maximize sales and profitability while upholding Watches of Switzerland Group values.
- Partner with the Buyer to develop and execute departmental strategies.
- Manage product categories to achieve financial objectives.
- Oversee the MAP system.
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships.
- Lead, coach, and develop the merchandising team.
- Provide flexibility to support business needs, including occasional meetings or activities outside standard business hours when required.
