Role & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the boutique business plan, set objectives and performance expectations, and keep costs and controls within budget.
• Lead and manage a high-performing team, engaging colleagues in delivering the client experience and performance targets; coach individuals to develop their potential.
• Maintain, review and improve operating processes and procedures to support a streamlined, client-oriented business.
• Develop solutions and take an entrepreneurial approach to day-to-day and long-term business challenges while maintaining the boutique’s professional image.
• Connect all parts of the business through clear communication, anticipate challenges and opportunities, and respond effectively.
• Model exceptional service for internal and external clients.
• Identify, share and promote best practices across the business, demonstrating teamwork across the Group network.
• Meet profit targets and keep discounts and costs within budget.
• Achieve boutique objectives through KPIs and department targets.
• Manage colleague performance, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional client service.
• Represent the boutique at internal and external meetings.
• Organize daily and weekly tasks in line with policies and procedures through active delegation and participation.
• Maintain visual merchandising to company standards.
• Manage the till and related transaction procedures.
• Participate in and lead floor and boutique training, after-hours meetings, and visual merchandising changes as required.
• Complete training requirements through e-learning and other sources.
• Ensure team members adhere to company dress-code standards.
• Travel for business when necessary.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Considerable retail management experience, ideally in a luxury environment.
• Evidence of delivering performance against sales and process objectives.
• Jewelry or timepiece product knowledge.
• Proven record of sales achievements.
• Ability to develop and implement business strategies and work to budgets.
• Ability to manage and deliver operating costs and identify suitable efficiency improvements.
• Strong numerical ability and capacity to understand and analyze sales performance.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a high-performing boutique team.
• Proven record of management achievements.
• IT literacy.
• Evidence of CRM experience and networking.
