Moët Hennessy in Reims seeks a Legal Intern (Commercial & Competition Law — Distribution), internship starting July 2026 in the Distribution legal team.

Role & Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (distribution contracts, agency/mandate agreements, general and specific terms and conditions, global agreements, intercompany contracts and service agreements) in French and English.
- Analyze legal issues related to e‑commerce, consumer protection and competition law and propose practical solutions for operational teams.
- Support litigation-related work: jurisprudential research, collection and organization of evidence, review of pleadings and preparation of file memoranda.
- Draft concise legal memos, synthesis notes and prepare materials for coordination with external law firms and foreign counsel.
- Conduct ongoing legal watch and regulatory monitoring in relevant areas (distribution, competition, consumer law).
- Collaborate with in‑house lawyers and cross‑functional operational teams on transactional and compliance projects in an international environment.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Master 2 (M2) in Business Law, Economic Law, DJCE or an LLM with specialisation in contracts, distribution and/or competition law.
- Prior internship(s) or work experience in-house, in a law firm or in a legal function is an advantage.
- Fluent professional command of English; ability to draft legal documents in both French and English.
- Excellent legal research and drafting skills, with intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, proactivity and ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.

Entry-level/intern: currently pursuing or recently completed a Master 2 (M2) in Business Law, Economic Law, DJCE or an LLM. Previous internships in law firms or in‑house legal departments are valued but not mandatory.
Education
Master 2 (M2) level in Business Law / Economic Law / DJCE / LLM (in progress or recent graduate).
