The Business Law and Contracts Legal Intern supports the Distribution/Markets team within the Group Legal Department, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and assisting lawyers with projects involving operational teams in an international context. This full-time internship is available from January 2027 in Reims.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including annual negotiations.
- Research issues relating to e-commerce, consumer law and competition law.
- Conduct research for pre-litigation matters, including risk analysis and settlement agreements, and litigation matters, including case law, document collection and review of pleadings.
- Draft briefing notes and conduct research in coordination with foreign law firms or advisers.
- Monitor legal developments.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at least at Master 2 level in business law, economic law, European law, DJCE, LLM or at a law school for a PPI internship.
- Previous internship, apprenticeship and/or experience at a law firm is required.
- Fluent English; good command of Office 365 and online legal research resources.
- Interpersonal intelligence, intellectual curiosity, versatility and proactivity.
