Veuve Clicquot in Reims seeks an Apprentice Cook (alternance) for Hôtel du Marc — 12–24 month work‑study starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes for external guests, internal visitors and staff in accordance with gastronomic standards.
- Contribute to the development and testing of new recipes and menu items.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and keep work areas (including dishwashing and prep stations) clean and orderly.
- Organize the workstation to deliver tasks within allocated times while complying with hygiene and safety instructions.
- Adhere to restaurant standards of presentation, uniform, punctuality and professional conduct.
- Work flexibly according to service needs, including occasional Saturdays, team service and split shifts.
Qualifications
- Vocational hospitality or culinary diploma (Bac Professionnel, CAP, BEP or equivalent).
- Prior experience in a gastronomic restaurant (internship or job experience) is required.
- Sensitivity to luxury service and guest relations; strong sense of presentation and rigour.
- Interest in gastronomy and an appetite for learning about wine.
- Availability for a 12‑ or 24‑month alternance beginning September 2026 with a 3‑weeks/1‑week rhythm.
