Versace — Milan (Montenapoleone) seeks a Stock Controller to manage stockroom operations and inventory for its boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process incoming merchandise; verify quantities and quality of incoming shipments and complete associated shipping/receiving documentation.
- Maintain accurate, organised stockroom inventories and ensure correct representation of all sizes and styles on the selling floor.
- Run sizes, assist at the cash register and support the sales team with stock availability, client requests and fitting-room replenishment.
- Plan, prepare and participate in stocktakes and inventory analysis; reconcile discrepancies and report shrink or product quality issues to management.
- Monitor store supply levels (packaging, office supplies, uniforms, beverages) and communicate reordering needs in a timely manner.
- Comply with company fire, health and safety regulations and set an example of operational excellence by adhering to policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in a stock/inventory role, preferably within retail luxury or fashion.
- Highly organised, rigorous and reliable with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with retail point of sale systems and comfortable using Word, Excel and email for reporting and communication.
- Professional communicator able to collaborate with sales teams and liaise with management to resolve stock issues.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in stockroom or inventory control, ideally in a retail environment; experience with shipping/receiving procedures and cycle counts is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a certificate in logistics, retail operations or supply-chain fundamentals is advantageous.
