Role & Responsibilities

  • Construct prototypes and production samples for women’s ready-to-wear in close collaboration with the First Line Clothing team.
  • Assemble garments using a variety of hand and machine sewing techniques across different fabrics and specialized finishes.
  • Produce multiple garment types with emphasis on lightweight pieces — dresses, shirts and skirts — ensuring fit, finish and pattern fidelity.
  • Translate design and pattern instructions into accurate samples suitable for fittings and runway presentation.
  • Work to high standards of precision, maintain sample-room organisation and support iteration during fittings.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of consolidated experience as a prototype seamstress / sample maker in womenswear.
  • Deep technical knowledge of garment construction, stitches and finishing techniques for diverse fabrics.
  • Proven experience producing samples for runway and first-line collections, particularly lightweight garments (dresses, shirts, skirts).
  • Excellent manual dexterity, precision and attention to detail; able to work independently and within a team.
  • Fluent Italian (spoken and written).
