Versace Manhasset (NY) seeks a Sales Associate to deliver luxury client experiences, manage consignments and meet sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador delivering an exceptional, personalized client experience and promoting the Retail Excellence Program.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (daily, monthly, annual) including sales, units per transaction (UPT) and average transaction value (ATV).
- Capture and maintain client data, develop and nurture genuine client relationships through proactive follow-up and after-sales service (thank-you notes, calls, repair follow-through).
- Prospect and generate new client relationships while maintaining and growing existing clientele.
- Handle consignment opening/closing, process returns and exchanges, and oversee customer repairs and product-fit consultations.
- Collaborate with peers and management to develop business-driving initiatives, in-store contests and client events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of retail experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and effective clienteling.
- Proficiency with retail point of sale systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build partnerships across clients, peers and management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, multi-task effectively and maintain professional presentation and service standards.
Skills
Experience
At least two years working in a retail environment with hands-on experience in specialty or luxury retail; demonstrable success in client development and meeting defined sales KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or diploma in business, fashion or a related discipline preferred.
