The Retail FP&A Analyst joins the Global FP&A team at Versace, focusing on Retail reporting, financial forecasts and budgets, and profitability analysis by region and channel. The role supports senior management and cross-functional teams; the stated annual salary is €34,000–€37,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare management reports and KPIs, analysing key areas.
- Produce daily and weekly Retail reports for top management, coordinating regional teams.
- Monitor Retail profitability, with a focus on channels and seasonality.
- Coordinate global tracking of worldwide Retail openings and closures with regional teams and the HQ Real Estate department.
- Support senior management with presentations, dashboards and performance indicators for relevant projects.
- Support preparation of earnings release analyses requested by the holding company.
- Support preparation of budgets, reforecasts and three-year plans with the teams involved.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closings, providing commentary and analysis against budget.
- Conduct regular business performance analyses, reviewing variances against budget and forecast, with a focus on subsidiaries and in coordination with the Opex Controlling and Consolidation teams.
- Monitor Retail capital expenditure against investment budgets and flag areas of overspend.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Background in a fashion or luxury company is a plus.
- Fluent English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with planning tools or software; Hyperion and Tagetik are a plus.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as OBIEE and Power BI is a plus.
- Good relationship skills, social intelligence and teamwork.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a complex, fast-changing environment.
