The Purchasing Intern joins the fabric procurement team and supports the company tutor with raw-material purchasing. Responsibilities include material research and coding, purchase orders and confirmations, delivery follow-up, material checks, analysis, reporting and supplier correspondence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the search, selection and coding of raw materials.
- Issue purchase orders.
- Enter and manage order confirmations.
- Monitor and follow up on delivery dates.
- Release and verify materials.
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports.
- Manage correspondence with suppliers and internal departments.
- Assist the company tutor with activities related to raw-material purchasing.
Qualifications
- A first experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Precision, attention to detail and aptitude for working with numbers.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, collaborate with the company tutor and follow their guidance.
- Flexibility and dynamism.
- Excellent Italian and good spoken and written English.
