Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor sales-floor stock continuously to ensure merchandise is represented according to current visual merchandising (VM) sets and relay stock or quality issues to management to avoid shrink.
  • Maintain a clean, secure and highly organized stock room; reorganize back‑of‑house layouts to maximize operational efficiency and client experience.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently and cost‑effectively, including customer shipments and internal transfers, with meticulous packaging standards.
  • Lead and execute physical inventory processes, participate in cycle counts and investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and differential reports.
  • Serve as a key holder as required: open/close store, close out POS, prepare and send end‑of‑day (EOD) reports.
  • Process and document damages monthly to company standard and manage repair workflows (COG and stock), communicating progress and acting customer‑facing when necessary.
  • Support the sales team with stock‑related tasks—running sizes, advising on availability, assisting at the cash wrap—while modeling operational best practices and policy compliance.
  • Prepare and submit corporate finance packs on the required bi‑monthly cadence and keep accurate records of all stock movement and stockroom transactions.
  • Monitor store supply levels (packaging, office supplies, beverages, etc.) and coordinate orders with management to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience in a retail back‑of‑house (BOH) or stockroom environment; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage inventory processes, shipping/receiving and cycle counts with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated trustworthiness for key‑holder responsibilities and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to build collaborative relationships with store associates and corporate partners.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task effectively in a fast‑paced retail setting.

Experience

Minimum two years of hands‑on retail back‑of‑house experience with responsibility for inventory control, shipping/receiving and stockroom operations; prior supervisory or lead experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or some college in retail management, logistics or a related field preferred.
