Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor sales-floor inventory and ensure merchandise is presented according to current visual merchandising sets.
• Communicate stock-level and product-quality issues to General Manager and Associate General Manager to minimise shrink.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient stockroom; re-organise back-of-house (BOH) to optimise operations and client experience.
• Execute shipping and receiving tasks promptly and cost-effectively, including customer shipments in line with brand standards.
• Process consolidations, transfers and packaging to strict timelines and quality standards.
• Support cycle counts, participate in physical inventories and resolve discrepancies and adjustment reports.
• Process and document damages monthly and manage repair workflows (COG and stock), acting customer-facing when required.
• Prepare and submit corporate finance packs on a bi-monthly schedule.
• Monitor store supply levels (packaging, beverages, office supplies) and communicate ordering needs to management.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movement and related documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a retail back-of-house (BOH) environment; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proven communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across store and corporate teams.
• Operational proficiency with retail POS systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and business email.
• Self-motivated, proactive and positive attitude with a strong service orientation.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable interacting with clients when necessary (repairs, shipments) and maintaining professional standards.

Experience

Minimum of one year working in a retail back-of-house or stockroom role; prior experience in luxury retail is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in retail, logistics or merchandising considered an asset.

The base compensation for this position is CAD 20 per hour.
