Versace — Men Retail Merchandising Intern (Milan, hybrid). Support Global Retail Merchandising Manager on stock allocation, Excel reporting and regional presentations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work alongside the company tutor to support the Men Global Retail Merchandising Manager in daily merchandising operations at Milan HQ (hybrid).
- Extract, format and analyse Excel-based reports from company systems to monitor regional stock on hand, sales and HQ bulk inventory.
- Prepare weekly shipment and delivery files and reconcile deliveries in close collaboration with the Customer Service team to ensure on-time collection receipt.
- Support allocation of merchandise from HQ bulk to regions and e‑commerce channels; consolidate stock between regions and channels to optimise inventory based on sales performance.
- Prepare and edit presentations and training materials for regional teams, including monthly product pushes, showroom master order guidelines and product training documents.
- Create and refine HQ templates for regional use and collect regional feedback to iterate formats.
- Assist during buying sessions and manage special orders and transfer requests routed through HQ Customer Service.
- Perform daily communications with regional teams to support store/client needs, stock replenishment and ad hoc local requests.
- Produce ad hoc reports and presentations in partnership with Collection Merchandising, Merchandising Intelligence, VM, CRM, Retail Excellence and Marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or current enrolment) in Economics, Fashion Management or a related field.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with a demonstrated interest in fashion, particularly menswear.
- Good command of English for communication with corporate and regional teams; Italian is a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and demonstrated problem‑solving ability.
- Capacity to work flexibly in a fast-changing, deadline-driven environment.
- Previous work experience or internships in retail or merchandising are advantageous.

Experience
Open to students or recent graduates; prior internship or work experience in retail, merchandising, buying or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Economics, Fashion Management or a related discipline.
