Manager, Retail Operations at Versace Los Angeles – Lead West Coast retail operations across full-price and outlet locations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and maintain the Retail Operations Handbook as a comprehensive guidelines document for all retail locations; update and deliver training as required
  • Provide operational support to regional stores and field teams; identify and address training needs across policies, procedures, systems, and store standards
  • Partner with VP Retail and Global Retail Excellence Director to ensure all North American stores align with global retail standards
  • Strategize and execute new initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive sales and profitability across all retail doors
  • Collaborate with Inventory Management to maintain accurate inventory levels and achieve company shrink rate targets
  • Lead and manage all operational rollout projects for North America, ensuring successful execution
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on operational excellence
  • Project manage new store openings, renovations, pop-ups, General Manager conferences, and regional off-site events in partnership with VP Retail
  • Conduct regular in-store visits, with emphasis on high-priority locations, and schedule quarterly visits to remote stores
  • Manage retail P&L, negotiate vendor agreements, and maintain supplier relationships to optimize profitability
  • Oversee retail supply chain ordering and monitor departmental spending
  • Coordinate systems-related issues in partnership with IT department
  • Manage facilities maintenance requests (FEXA) alongside Facilities team to ensure timely repairs and proper budget allocation
  • Supervise staff uniform bulk orders and distribution coordination with Merchandising
  • Consolidate and verify reporting accuracy across all regional stores
  • Execute weekly operational tasks in stores in partnership with Regional Directors and Store Managers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of store operations management experience in store or operations management roles within high-volume, complex retail environments
  • Demonstrated ability to improve store processes and operational standards
  • Proven track record supporting and executing project rollouts in retail locations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialty retail, outlet operations, and visual merchandising
  • Proficiency with retail POS systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and email
  • Ability to travel regionally at least two weeks per month

Experience
