Junior Merchandiser at Versace in NYC Metro Area—manage product allocation, inventory planning, and seasonal merchandising strategy. $75k–$85k annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support stock allocation and replenishment across stores by style, category, and business need
- Manage product flow from initial allocation through end-of-life cycle, including replenishment, consolidation, and transfers across stores or channels
- Execute weekly allocations for new seasonal deliveries, carryover product, and replenishment needs
- Partner with Logistics and Retail Leadership to manage shipment timing, shipping capacity, in-store delivery priorities, and peak-period product flow
- Review, analyze, and respond to store product requests and event-related merchandising needs
- Support execution of the brand buying strategy during seasonal buying milestones
- Monitor in-season product performance and recommend actions to maximize revenue and support business priorities
- Partner with the Global Merchandising team to communicate regional product needs and opportunities
- Prepare product training materials and help communicate buying strategy to cross-functional and retail teams
- Support buying and allocation management for licensed categories, including Fragrances, Watches, and Sunglasses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or fashion merchandising (preferred)
- 3–4 years of experience in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills
- Keen awareness of customer and brand profile
- Team-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in NYC office 3–4 days per week
Skills
Experience
3–4 years of experience in a fast-paced, sales-driven retail or merchandising environment. Previous experience in luxury retail, merchandising, allocation, or buying is highly valued. Familiarity with allocation systems or inventory management tools is a strong asset.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
