Versace IT Technical Specialist in Milan – Manage Windows Server infrastructure for a luxury conglomerate.
Role & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain and decommission physical and virtual servers, focusing on Windows Server environments, including provisioning, resource allocation, user accounts and permissions management
- Monitor system performance and availability, promptly identifying and resolving incidents while applying patches, updates and security measures to ensure reliability and integrity
- Implement and regularly test backup and restore procedures to ensure data integrity and maintain disaster recovery capabilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, diagrams and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and technologies, coordinating with internal and external partners on infrastructure activities
- Liaise with vendors for hardware and software procurement, technical support and licence management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in system administration or IT infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows operating systems and Windows Server
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Full professional proficiency in Italian and English
- Ability to work independently with ownership and accuracy
- Strong methodological approach and meticulous attention to detail
- Team-player attitude with capacity to work to tight deadlines
