Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments: verify quantities and quality of packages and prepare accompanying documentation as authorized.
- Maintain an immaculate, organized stockroom and ensure selling-floor inventory is accurate and replenished with appropriate sizes and styles.
- Perform regular inventories, analyse results and communicate discrepancies or quality issues to management to minimise shrinkage.
- Support the sales team with running sizes, advising on stock availability and assisting at the cash register when required.
- Monitor and manage store supply levels (packaging, office supplies, beverages) and place order requests to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, and health, fire and safety regulations while modelling operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a stock or inventory role, preferably within retail.
- Highly organised, rigorous and reliable with attention to detail.
- Proficient with retail point of sale systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email communication.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years in a stock/inventory position, ideally within luxury retail, demonstrating hands-on experience with receiving, replenishment and stock audits.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail operations or a related field is preferred.
