Versace Industrial Controller role in Novara, Italy – manage manufacturing costs, budgeting, and financial analysis for luxury fashion production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage budget, forecast, and monthly closing activities for Logistics (HQ and regional branches), Product Development, Industrial Division, and Design & Haute Couture
- Calculate and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), determine industrial overheads, value inventory movements, and collaborate with Accounts Payable and Inventory Controlling teams
- Analyze Actual Product Costs versus Standard Costs and identify variances
- Track and monitor Product Development costs with focus on Prototype and Sample launches
- Prepare periodic reporting and calculate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Industrial area
- Develop ad hoc analyses to understand industrial cost trends and support Management decision-making
- Monitor and track costs related to production orders including Marketing Orders and Uniforms
- Optimize the SAP cost control system by monitoring Work-in-Progress (WIP), identifying and correcting input anomalies in Raw Materials, Finished Products, and Processing, and developing customized data extraction layouts
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Controlling, preferably in structured organizations within the Fashion industry
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, or related fields, or equivalent professional background
- Strong knowledge of analysis and reporting tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence applications
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated social intelligence, team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and exceptional organizational skills
