Versace seeks Footwear Product Manager in Milan to manage women's formal shoe collection development, supplier coordination, and budget oversight.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of product development for the women's formal footwear collection through production finalization, adhering to collection timelines and established deadlines
- Maintain continuous follow-up with external suppliers including footwear manufacturers, heel producers, and material suppliers in collaboration with the Senior Manager and Technical Lead, ensuring responsive and timely communication
- Define requirements for prototype and sample orders including raw materials and structural components
- Prepare collection advancement files, structural specifications, product training documentation, technical reviews, look lists, and showroom sample commentary in coordination with other product category managers
- Support the Senior Manager in weekly budget management and follow-up for the collection development allocation
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager in establishing and communicating cost targets (production labor, materials, processing) while maintaining established markup standards
- Communicate collection progress across all involved departments, fostering synergies with other product categories
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar product management role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of PLM and Stealth software systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with collaborative approach
- Fluent English
