Versace New York seeks Director of Retail Training & Excellence to lead training programmes and operational excellence across retail network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive retail training curricula aligned with Versace brand values and operational excellence standards
- Oversee implementation of training programmes across all retail locations, ensuring consistent execution and adherence to brand guidelines
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to training effectiveness, store operations, and team competency
- Collaborate with regional and store management to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions
- Lead training delivery and certification programmes for store associates, supervisors, and managers
- Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and digital learning platforms
- Conduct regular training audits and provide coaching to store teams on best practices
- Develop succession planning and talent development initiatives within the retail organization
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading retail training and development functions within luxury fashion or comparable industries
- Strong understanding of luxury retail operations and brand positioning
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning methodologies and instructional design
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and digital training platforms
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
Skills
Experience
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in retail training, learning & development, or retail operations management, with at least 5 years in a director-level or equivalent leadership role overseeing training functions for a multi-unit retail environment
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification in instructional design or retail management preferred
