Versace — Demand & Supply Planner (Milan). Mid-level, full-time role in Central Planning focused on forecasting, inventory optimisation and Power BI reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple aggregation levels, time horizons, channels and markets for assigned categories.
- Analyse sales trends, demand drivers and planning KPIs to identify risks, opportunities and deviations versus plan.
- Contribute to consensus forecasting by aligning assumptions and reorder plans with Merchandising, Retail, Regions, Production and Finance.
- Perform inventory analysis including replenishment needs, product phase-ins/phase-outs, regional requirements and stock rebalancing opportunities.
- Partner with Inventory and Distribution teams to identify inefficiencies, excess stock and coverage gaps; recommend optimisation actions.
- Collaborate with Data Science to refine forecasting models and integrate advanced analytics/AI into planning inputs.
- Design and maintain reports and Power BI dashboards to improve visibility on sales, stock, forecasts and performance.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of planning system data and progressively take ownership of specific categories, channels or processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative, business or supply chain discipline.
- 2–4 years’ experience in demand planning or supply planning; fashion or luxury retail environment is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistics and forecasting methodologies and their financial/operational impacts.
- Proven experience in high-volume, multi-location distribution environments.
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in Italian and English.

2–4 years of hands-on demand planning or supply planning experience, preferably within fashion or a high-volume multi-location distribution environment, with exposure to consensus forecasting and inventory optimisation.
