Role & Responsibilities
- Drive boutique business development: analyse performance, propose and implement action plans to meet qualitative and quantitative objectives, and partner with the Area Manager to maximise sales and margin.
- Own store KPIs and reporting: monitor sell-through, competitor activity and market trends; liaise with merchandising and divisional teams to optimise product availability and productivity.
- Lead and develop the team: set personalised objectives, conduct regular follow-ups, onboard new hires, deliver coaching and training, and foster a motivated, high‑performance culture.
- Manage client relationships and CRM: act as a brand ambassador, expand and maintain the customer base, oversee the customer database and support in‑store and external client events.
- Ensure operational excellence: manage stock and backroom processes, enforce loss‑prevention measures, maintain visual merchandising standards and control store budgetary and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of retail management experience; prior luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven capability in business development, KPI management and visual merchandising within specialty retail.
- Demonstrable people management experience, including recruitment, coaching, performance management and staff development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
- Proficiency with retail POS systems and standard office applications; strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
