Versace Associate General Manager, Full-Time in San Marcos, Texas – Lead luxury retail operations and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exemplary representation of Versace's brand values, leadership capabilities, and customer service excellence
- Lead team development through effective coaching, training, and motivational activities to drive sales performance and comparable store results
- Monitor day-to-day store operations and sales team efficiency, serving as a role model for the sales staff
- Enforce compliance with operational and company policies and procedures across all store functions
- Support sales team development by providing selling tools, mentoring position growth, and facilitating career progression
- Actively participate on the sales floor, building relationships with new and existing clients for Versace USA, Inc.
- Establish a dynamic retail environment characterized by superlative customer service, professional presentation, and comprehensive product knowledge
- Maintain active engagement with clients and community, identifying market needs and opportunities for competitive advantage
- Collaborate on market research, event strategy, and client experience initiatives to optimize business performance
- Oversee back-of-house operations including inventory management, cleaning, maintenance, security, loss prevention, POS systems, shipping and receiving
- Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards align with company directives and brand guidelines
- Maintain optimal shrink results through rigorous security measures and consistent inventory accuracy
- Demonstrate accountability and leadership in managing store personnel and operations with professional standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion or Business preferred
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, with luxury retail background strongly preferred
- Full understanding of specialty retail operations including clienteling, visual merchandising, and store management
- Proficiency with retail POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining operational balance
- Positive, high-energy personality with entrepreneurial and sales-focused mindset
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, preferably within luxury or specialty retail sectors. Demonstrated expertise in store operations, sales team leadership, and client relationship management required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
