Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Director in analysing sales performance and KPIs, proposing and implementing action plans to meet qualitative and quantitative objectives.
- Contribute to business development through competitor and product reporting, sell-through analysis and liaison with merchandising and product divisions to optimise assortments and availability.
- Lead day-to-day store operations including stock control, backroom management, goods receiving, transfers, stock takes and loss-prevention measures to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coach, train and appraise boutique staff; translate Store Director objectives into individual targets and follow up on development plans to elevate performance and capability.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention by acting as a brand ambassador, cultivating high-profile client relationships and ensuring the team consistently delivers the Versace client experience.
- Oversee CRM activities and the management of the customer database to maximise lifetime value and support boutique community outreach and in-store events in partnership with PR and merchandising.
- Ensure the boutique’s presentation and visual merchandising meet brand directives and participate in VM set-ups and store briefings to align the team on standards and priorities.
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding; ensure staff grooming, product knowledge and adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of retail management experience; previous experience in luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Proven understanding of specialty retail operations, merchandising fundamentals and boutique economics.
- Proficiency with retail point of sale systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email communication.
- Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and to capitalise on high-profile clientele.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching and team-management capabilities with a track record of developing people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the capacity to prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience
Minimum 1–3 years in retail management with direct experience supervising teams and delivering sales results; luxury fashion boutique experience preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business or a related discipline preferred.
