Van Cleef & Arpels in Singapore seeks a Visual Merchandising Assistant Intern (Jul–Jan) to support window and in‑store displays, moodboards and installations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Visual Merchandising team in the conception, preparation and installation of in‑store and window displays consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Prepare moodboards, layout sketches and planograms to communicate creative direction and technical specifications.
  • Assist with sourcing, construction and dressing of props and display elements; oversee staging and on‑site set adjustments.
  • Document installations through photography and maintain an archive of visual assets and setup instructions.
  • Coordinate logistics and timing with boutique teams, store managers and external suppliers to ensure flawless execution.
  • Maintain VM stock, props inventory and back‑of‑house organization to support rapid visual turnarounds.
  • Provide operational support during event activations, product launches and seasonal transitions.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Interior Design, Set Design or a related discipline.
  • Strong visual sensibility with a polished aesthetic judgement and attention to detail.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience in display, styling or set design.
  • Availability for the full internship period (July–January) and flexibility to work occasional extended hours for installations.
  • Ability to lift and handle display materials and to work safely at heights when required.
