Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Training Specialist in Seoul to deliver and develop training for boutique teams, strengthen staff expertise, coach Sales Associates and improve client experience. The role also supports localized training and training events; it is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct Maison training focused on service, clienteling, selling skills and customer service, and communicate and organize training programmes in a timely manner.
- Develop team training pathways using existing tools and new content; improve knowledge and provide guidance, mentoring, tailored development plans and feedback to strengthen Sales Associates’ capabilities.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, monitor performance progress and assess training effectiveness.
- Develop and implement advanced training to strengthen team expertise; identify individual success factors and development areas, work with internal teams to identify future training needs, and create curricula.
- Follow up on staff practice in boutiques, focusing on selling and other soft skills; hold individual or small-group sessions to gather participant feedback and discuss improvements and challenges to enhance the client experience.
- Design follow-up courses, coaching materials and tools, including role-play activities and case studies, and encourage teams to broaden their thinking and share best practices.
- Review existing training programmes and recommend enhancements or modifications to improve engagement, learning and retention.
- Ensure training materials and programmes are current, accurate and effective; develop and arrange localized training with the team and provide general support for training events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Professional experience as a Trainer, Field Coach or in a similar role in the luxury hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; reliable and independent; positive attitude; presentable; team player.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
