Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Training Manager in Madrid to lead retail learning & development across the maison's boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive learning strategy for Madrid boutiques, covering product knowledge, clienteling, sales techniques and service standards.
  • Develop curricula and training materials (classroom, on‑the‑job, e‑learning and blended solutions) aligned with brand standards and commercial objectives.
  • Plan and deliver train‑the‑trainer sessions and workshops for store managers and internal trainers to ensure consistent execution across stores.
  • Manage the training calendar, coordinate regional learning initiatives, and liaise with HQ Learning & Development and HR stakeholders.
  • Administer the Learning Management System, track learner progress, and generate KPI reports to measure programme effectiveness and business impact.
  • Coach and mentor retail leaders to embed behavioural change, improve sales performance and reinforce client relationship management.
  • Conduct needs analyses, assessments and post‑training evaluations (knowledge checks, mystery shopping data, commercial KPIs) to refine programmes.
  • Control training budgets, third‑party vendors and resources while ensuring all materials comply with brand identity and legal/regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in learning & development within luxury retail, hospitality or premium goods (typically 5+ years).
  • Demonstrable track record of designing and delivering training programmes for frontline sales teams and managers.
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs and how learning interventions drive commercial outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for delivering high‑impact sessions to senior retail staff.
