Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive learning strategy for Madrid boutiques, covering product knowledge, clienteling, sales techniques and service standards.
- Develop curricula and training materials (classroom, on‑the‑job, e‑learning and blended solutions) aligned with brand standards and commercial objectives.
- Plan and deliver train‑the‑trainer sessions and workshops for store managers and internal trainers to ensure consistent execution across stores.
- Manage the training calendar, coordinate regional learning initiatives, and liaise with HQ Learning & Development and HR stakeholders.
- Administer the Learning Management System, track learner progress, and generate KPI reports to measure programme effectiveness and business impact.
- Coach and mentor retail leaders to embed behavioural change, improve sales performance and reinforce client relationship management.
- Conduct needs analyses, assessments and post‑training evaluations (knowledge checks, mystery shopping data, commercial KPIs) to refine programmes.
- Control training budgets, third‑party vendors and resources while ensuring all materials comply with brand identity and legal/regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in learning & development within luxury retail, hospitality or premium goods (typically 5+ years).
- Demonstrable track record of designing and delivering training programmes for frontline sales teams and managers.
- Solid understanding of retail KPIs and how learning interventions drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for delivering high‑impact sessions to senior retail staff.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in training or learning & development, with significant exposure to luxury retail or client‑facing premium services and at least some responsibility for regional programme delivery or store network rollout.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or recognised L&D certifications (e.g., CIPD) preferred.
