Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris is hiring a Test & Qualification Engineer Intern to assist R&D and product validation in the high‑jewellery ateliers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team in planning and executing tests for product qualification, including mechanical, environmental and aging protocols.
- Prepare samples and test setups; operate laboratory equipment under supervision and ensure correct handling and traceability of materials.
- Collect, process and validate experimental data; perform basic statistical analysis and summarise findings.
- Draft clear technical reports and test protocols; present results to cross‑functional stakeholders (design, production, quality).
- Contribute to maintenance, calibration follow‑up and continuous improvement of test methods and laboratory practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and laboratory safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering, materials science, applied physics or equivalent degree programme (Bachelor/Master) with eligibility for a French internship (stage).
- Solid understanding of materials behaviour and basic testing methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with capacity to interpret experimental results and produce concise technical documentation.
- Attention to detail, methodical laboratory practice and respect for quality procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Experience
Prior laboratory coursework or an internship involving materials testing, metrology or product validation is advantageous but not mandatory for this internship position.
Education
Enrolled in an engineering or materials science degree programme (Bachelor's or Master's level) with authorization to complete an internship.
