Van Cleef & Arpels in Geneva seeks a Stock Administrator to manage inventory and stock operations for high‑value jewellery and watches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory operations for boutique and atelier stock, including receiving, storage, transfers and dispatches while ensuring strict chain‑of‑custody for high‑value pieces.
- Perform and coordinate cycle counts, full physical inventories and reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Process goods receipts, inter‑store transfers, returns and consignments in the inventory management system and maintain accurate item master data.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory, movement and shrinkage reports to Supply Chain and Store Management; support internal and external audits.
- Enforce security, handling and packing protocols for high‑value items, liaising with Loss Prevention and boutique teams to mitigate risk.
- Coordinate with boutiques, workshops and logistics partners to prioritise replenishment, repairs and bespoke orders; facilitate timely stock movements.
- Train and coach boutique and warehouse colleagues on inventory procedures, system workflows and compliance with brand standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory control, stock administration or logistics in luxury retail, jewellery, or watchmaking environments.
- Strong numeric accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrable track record of maintaining tight inventory controls.
- Familiarity with security and handling procedures for high‑value goods.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple simultaneous transactions.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and valuable merchandise.

Typically requires 2–5 years of progressive experience in stock control, inventory administration or logistics within luxury retail, jewellery or watchmaking; experience with high‑value merchandise is preferred.
Education
