Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Manager in New York to lead boutique operations, drive sales growth, and manage luxury retail teams. $130K–$140K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Boutique Director to guide the sales team across all aspects of sales operations, maintaining a commanding presence on the sales floor
- Coach team members toward performance goals through constructive feedback and facilitation of successful sales closures
- Cultivate client relationships and prospect from the database, developing long-term strategies to enhance loyalty and sales volume
- Lead by example on the sales floor, motivate the team, and partner with the Boutique Director in crafting client acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies
- Deliver exceptional customer service that elevates the boutique experience and drives sustainable sales growth
- Support the Boutique Director in guiding the team through operational policies, procedures, and corporate directives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4–5 years of experience in a luxury retail environment
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong selling and closing capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to travel as required
- Strong networking abilities and comfort with high-profile events
- Fluency in a foreign language relevant to the market (preferred)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

4–5 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, including demonstrated supervisory capability and a proven track record of driving sales performance and client retention in a high-end retail environment.
