Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver refined, anticipatory client service in line with Van Cleef & Arpels' standards, cultivating long-term relationships with VIP and private clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and expert product presentation.
  • Provide authoritative product knowledge on high-jewellery, gemstones, diamonds and watches; present provenance and technical details to clients.
  • Execute proactive clienteling activities: prospecting, follow-ups, appointment management and personalised communications.
  • Support boutique merchandising and visual presentation to ensure displays reflect seasonal campaigns and maison aesthetics.
  • Manage sales transactions, reservations and after-sales service accurately, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Participate in private events, trunk shows and client appointments; collaborate with global teams for bespoke client requests.
  • Assist with inventory control, stock reconciliation and adherence to security, compliance and loss-prevention procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail sales, preferably within high-jewellery, fine jewellery or haute horlogerie environments.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and delivering personalised client experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with professional discretion when handling high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen, numeracy and attention to detail for transaction and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work boutique hours, including weekends and evenings; professional presentation consistent with maison standards.
