Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver refined, personalised client service to a diverse and often high-net-worth clientele, building long-term relationships and client loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, cross-selling and effective closing techniques.
- Maintain deep product knowledge across high-jewellery, watches and signature collections; present product provenance and craftsmanship with confidence.
- Execute clienteling activities including follow-ups, appointment management and personalised service plans using the boutique CRM.
- Ensure boutique presentation standards: visual merchandising, window displays, stock presentation and housekeeping aligned with maison guidelines.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, manage receipts and assist with stock control and inventory reconciliation.
- Support client events, private viewings and pre-launch previews; coordinate with management and backstage teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Adhere to brand security, loss-prevention and compliance procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or fine jewellery sales, preferably within a maison or high-end boutique environment.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing lasting client relationships.
- Impeccable professional presentation and a service-oriented demeanour suitable for a luxury clientele.
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion and the ability to interact confidently with high-net-worth individuals.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and during seasonal peaks.
- Ability to learn and communicate detailed product and craftsmanship information accurately.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of direct sales experience in luxury retail or fine jewellery, with proven success in building and retaining client portfolios and meeting sales objectives.
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary qualification in luxury retail, hospitality, business or a related discipline preferred.
