Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised client service to a predominantly high‑value clientele, cultivating long‑term relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed daily and monthly sales targets through proactive clienteling, appointment management and conversion of walk‑ins.
  • Develop and maintain deep product knowledge across high jewellery, watches and related collections to provide authoritative advice and storytelling.
  • Manage all point‑of‑sale activities including transactions, returns, gift‑wrapping and accurate cash/transaction reconciliation following brand procedures.
  • Support boutique merchandising and visual standards, including window dressing, display upkeep and stock rotation to preserve the maison’s aesthetic.
  • Maintain client records, follow up on leads and appointments using the CRM system and ensure confidentiality of client information.
  • Participate in private viewings, trunk shows and local events; coordinate with after‑sales and atelier teams to manage bespoke requests and repairs.
  • Adhere strictly to internal controls, inventory procedures and loss‑prevention policies to safeguard high‑value merchandise.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of proven experience in luxury retail or jewellery sales, preferably within a high‑jewellery or haute couture environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with an aptitude for building trust with discerning clients.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards; impeccable attention to detail and discretion handling confidential client relationships.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings to meet client needs and boutique trading hours.
  • Fluency in Italian is expected; professional working knowledge of English is highly desirable.
