Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Associate in Busan (Shinsegae Centum) to deliver high-jewellery client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and create memorable in‑store experiences consistent with Van Cleef & Arpels brand standards.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-up communications and appointment management to drive repeat business.
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge across high jewellery, watches and accessories; advise clients on product selection, craftsmanship and provenance.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling, upselling and basket enrichment.
  • Maintain boutique visual merchandising and presentation to uphold brand aesthetics; ensure stock is merchandised according to maison directives.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and manage daily cash and reconciliation procedures accurately.
  • Support inventory management, stock movements and loss-prevention procedures in coordination with store management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, luxury retail protocols and local regulations, including after-sales service coordination.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail or jewellery sales with demonstrable clienteling success (experience in high‑jewellery strongly preferred).
  • Polished interpersonal skills, professional poise and a service-driven disposition appropriate for a high-luxury environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Excellent presentation and visual merchandising sensibility to maintain maison standards.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, and to travel occasionally for client appointments if required.
  • Basic numeracy and competency with POS and inventory processes.

Experience

Prior luxury retail experience is required; candidates with direct experience selling fine jewellery or watches — and a proven record of client development and sales performance — will be preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, luxury goods or sales is advantageous.
