Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a full-time Sales Assistant for its Salons Vendôme flagship in Paris. The role supports sales advisors with client presentations, personalized orders, daily clienteling, sales-floor readiness and boutique operations, while contributing to cross-functional projects and supporting new team members.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support sales advisors in delivering an exceptional client experience at the Salons Vendôme flagship.
- Contribute to the boutique’s commercial performance and operational excellence.
- Assist sales advisors during client presentations by carefully preparing jewelry pieces, setting the sales table and managing products attentively.
- Prepare client orders and personalized attentions, and support the team’s daily clienteling activities.
- Maintain a proactive presence on the sales floor.
- Manage consumables and contribute to the Salon’s daily logistical preparation, including sales tables, counting and IT equipment.
- Contribute to occasional cross-functional projects.
- Continuously develop knowledge of the Maison’s creations, history and exceptional craftsmanship, and propose ways to enrich daily practices.
- Maintain precise knowledge of available pieces, track their movements and assist sales advisors during each presentation.
- Support new team members as they join, share best practices and provide regular feedback to the manager.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in high-end customer service or luxury hospitality, particularly with international clientele.
- Interest in High Jewelry, the Maison’s world and métiers d’art, with genuine curiosity about its history and creations.
- Versatility, autonomy, initiative, elegance and creativity.
- Rigor, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage several projects calmly in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong listening skills and empathy.
- Enjoys collaborative teamwork and places client satisfaction at the heart of their work.
- Fluent English is essential.
