Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Contract Sales Assistant in Monte Carlo — boutique sales role focused on client service and high‑jewellery expertise.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high‑touch service to clients in the boutique, building long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Actively prospect and convert sales opportunities to achieve individual and boutique targets and KPIs.
- Manage client appointments, follow-up communications and after‑sales service with impeccable discretion and responsiveness.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product presentation reflects the maison’s aesthetic and brand guidelines.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately and carry out cashing up, invoicing and returns according to procedure.
- Control stock: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, process replenishments and report discrepancies.
- Support boutique operational tasks including housekeeping, window and in-store displays, and seasonal floor-set changes.
- Collaborate with the team and management to share market feedback, client preferences and product knowledge insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in luxury retail or high‑end jewellery preferred.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver excellent clienteling.
- Polished personal presentation with high standards of grooming and professional demeanour.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
- Strong verbal communication, telephone and email etiquette.
- Eligibility to work in Monaco for the duration of the fixed‑term contract.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of client‑facing experience within luxury retail; direct experience with high‑jewellery or watch sales is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, luxury goods, fashion or hospitality is advantageous.
