Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Retail Manager in New Delhi to lead boutique operations, sales and VIP client relations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily boutique operations to deliver exemplary client service and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and execute a high‑level clienteling strategy including prospecting, VIP servicing and retention programs.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a team of sales associates; set performance objectives and conduct regular reviews.
  • Manage stock control, merchandising and presentation to maintain brand image and visual standards.
  • Own local business P&L responsibilities: sales forecasting, inventory turn, markdown control and reporting.
  • Plan and deliver in‑store events, trunk shows and private appointments in coordination with regional marketing.
  • Implement loss prevention, compliance and operational procedures in line with brand and group policies.
  • Collaborate with regional management on promotional calendars, pricing, and customer intelligence.
  • Ensure CRM and client data are maintained to the highest standard and leveraged for personalised outreach.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury retail, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team‑lead role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing boutique P&L.
  • Demonstrable experience in high‑value clienteling and managing VIP relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in recruitment, coaching and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presentation consistent with a luxury maison.

Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, luxury brand management or a related discipline preferred.
