Van Cleef & Arpels — Paris: Retail Architecture Assistant (Intern) to support boutique design, technical drawings and project coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Retail Architecture team in the delivery of boutique design projects from concept through execution.
- Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings and annotated plans for internal review and for contractors.
- Assist with 3D modelling, visualisations and presentation boards for client and internal meetings.
- Participate in site surveys and document existing conditions; take measurements and produce site reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to follow up on samples, materials and mock-ups.
- Maintain project documentation, drawing registers, meeting minutes and procurement trackers.
- Contribute to cost-monitoring activities and help track budgetary items under supervision.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme in architecture, interior design, industrial design or a closely related discipline.
- Strong technical drawing skills and a fundamental understanding of construction principles and finishes.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Professional demeanour and an interest in luxury retail environments and high-jewellery store design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and to take clear, actionable notes during meetings.
Skills
Experience
Prior internship experience or academic project work in retail design, interior architecture, shopfitting or exhibition design is desirable but not mandatory. Practical experience producing technical drawings and participating in site work will be considered an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or equivalent.
