Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Purchasing Assistant Intern in Paris for a 6-month full-time role in fine jewelry procurement and supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in and track supplier consultations for new product developments and existing collections, analyzing and comparing supplier proposals with structured benchmarking support to the lead buyer
- Support daily operational purchasing activities including invoice tracking, new supplier creation, and incoterm updates
- Assist in building supplier business reviews by consolidating financial data and quality/cost/delivery performance indicators, delivering clear and synthetic analyses
- Drive purchasing performance projects by managing project tracking tools and creating performance dashboards for hard and soft savings initiatives
- Update and develop sourcing data by maintaining key partner information and conducting market research to identify new suppliers and market trends
- Ensure pricing and waste-rate consistency across product portfolios and collaborate with cross-functional project teams on costing aspects
Qualifications
- Training or degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain management
- Strong analytical capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented professional with enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork
- Genuine interest in the luxury sector and fine jewelry
- Fluency in French and English

Recent graduate or final-year student with academic background in Purchasing or Supply Chain; no prior professional experience required.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related business discipline.
