Van Cleef & Arpels — Paris: Project Manager, Architecture responsible for delivering luxury boutique architecture and fit-out projects to brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and fit-out projects for boutiques, showrooms and internal spaces, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to brand standards.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (retail, visual merchandising, procurement, legal) and external teams (architects, interior designers, contractors, specialist artisans).
- Develop and validate technical design documentation: schematic designs, construction drawings, specifications and as-built records.
- Manage project budgets, tender processes, subcontractor selection, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, health & safety requirements and heritage constraints when applicable.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures on site; conduct regular site inspections and report progress to senior management.
- Integrate brand technical standards, materials sourcing and finishes into procurement and execution plans.
- Drive BIM/CAD workflows and coordinate model exchange between design and construction teams where applicable.
- Prepare and present clear project reports, programme updates and risk registers to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional architectural accreditation preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in producing and reviewing technical construction documentation and specifications.
- Proven experience managing multi-site retail or hospitality fit-out projects with strict brand standards.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in tendering, contract administration and budget management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to liaise with senior internal leaders and external partners.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressively responsible experience delivering architecture or interior fit-out projects, preferably within luxury retail, hospitality or high-end residential sectors, including direct oversight of contractors and technical teams.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
