Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Production Scheduler in Meyrin, Switzerland to manage manufacturing orders and coordinate production flows within a luxury jewelry and watchmaking environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze MRP-generated requirements, create and launch manufacturing orders with defined priorities, and ensure reliability of status tracking and delivery timelines within the ERP system
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and prioritize manufacturing orders at each critical phase, anticipating risks that may impact delivery schedules
- Manage component and subcontracting flows, execute associated ERP operations, and contribute to inventory data reliability
- Actively drive performance metrics within your scope by participating in production review cycles, monitoring key indicators such as service rate and order availability, and proposing continuous improvement actions to optimize processes
- Document operational practices, ensure team training according to cross-functionality matrices, and support business continuity
Qualifications
- Significant experience in scheduling or production management within a precision industrial sector such as horology, fine mechanics, or luxury mechanics
- Proficiency with ERP tools for manufacturing order tracking and inventory management
- Strong understanding of MRP logic
- Knowledge of subcontracting flows and continuous improvement processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a demanding production environment
