PR Assistant role at Van Cleef & Arpels, Singapore. Support SEA PR operations across Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam with press communications and event coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop concise and effective PR communications and press releases for distribution across Southeast Asia media contacts
- Monitor PR coverage bi-weekly and curate and share best media clippings with internal stakeholders
- Conduct deep-dive monthly press editorial analysis and competitor monitoring
- Support the Singapore office and coordinate with local PR agencies in Malaysia and Vietnam on daily press office operations
- Assist in coordinating all press events and press trips to ensure seamless press treatment and coverage
- Source and coordinate logistics for all press gifting and gifting inventory management
- Manage post-event reports and competitive analysis
- Provide administrative support including photoshoot arrangements, invoice processing via SAP, and tracking of all PR-related expenses
- Coordinate and manage ad-hoc projects and special initiatives
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives
- Proven experience in the retail industry with understanding of luxury market dynamics
- Deep understanding of media landscape and how press relations work
- Ability to align PR activations with business objectives
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Proficiency with SAP systems for expense tracking and invoice processing
Skills
Experience
Demonstrated experience in the retail industry with a track record of successful PR or communications support roles. Prior experience coordinating with media, managing press events, or supporting communications teams is advantageous.
Education
Upper secondary education or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
