Van Cleef & Arpels is hiring a Planning and Allocation Manager in New York to lead regional inventory planning, forecasting, and allocation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize inventory planning, forecasting, and allocation to maximize sales across the Americas region.
- Develop, monitor, and provide rolling forecasts for designated product categories, aligning them with regional sales trends and strategic objectives; maintain forecast accuracy against objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate with headquarters Supply Chain to secure product for the region, align on forecasts and global initiatives, and provide feedback for model stock reviews.
- Allocate inventory across all channels, including online retail, according to defined assortments and demand to support sales performance against budgets.
- Analyze business trends, sales, and stock rotation to identify risks and opportunities, and determine action plans with Merchandising, Marketing, and Retail teams.
- Assist with budget preparation and “last estimate” exercises, providing quantitative and qualitative input on Supply Chain forecasts.
- Prepare and co-lead bi-monthly presentations on Supply Chain topics for the local Executive Committee and Senior Management.
- Manage Supply Chain and Operations reporting and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a planning role; previous experience with luxury retail products is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for working with figures and retail math.
- French and/or Spanish business proficiency is a plus.
- Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.
