Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Madison Avenue boutique, ensuring flawless client service and adherence to maison standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, recruitment support, onboarding and ongoing training to maintain a highly skilled retail team.
- Control inventory lifecycle: receiving, stock accuracy, reconciliations, transfers and coordination with central logistics and HQ.
- Ensure visual merchandising and presentation align with seasonal directives and brand guidelines; coordinate installations and upkeep.
- Implement loss-prevention procedures, ensure compliance with security protocols and work with loss-prevention stakeholders.
- Own store-level operational KPIs, prepare regular performance reports and propose action plans to improve sales and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate clienteling initiatives, VIP events and after-sales service activities with the CRM and client relations teams.
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers and internal departments (merchandising, repairs, HR, finance) to resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience in the luxury goods sector, preferably in fine jewelry or high-end watchmaking.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to recruit, develop and motivate boutique teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Strong operational acumen including inventory control, cash handling procedures and compliance with luxury retail security protocols.
- Excellent communication skills; professional discretion and the ability to represent the maison to high-net-worth clients and external partners.
- Ability to analyze KPIs and produce actionable operational plans to drive store performance.
Skills
Experience
Typically 4–6 years of progressive experience in luxury retail operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a boutique or flagship environment. Experience working with high-net-worth clientele and coordinating cross-functional teams is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, hospitality, retail management or a related field preferred.
