Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day logistics operations for high‑value jewellery: inbound receipt, storage, internal transfers and outbound shipments.
- Operate and maintain inventory systems (WMS/SAP), ensuring accurate stock records and full traceability of items across boutiques, workshops and service centres.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers, couriers and customs brokers, overseeing export/import documentation and compliance with Incoterms and customs regulations.
- Plan and execute regular physical stock counts and reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Produce operational reporting and KPIs (turnover, stock accuracy, lead times) and propose process improvements to optimise flows and reduce risk.
- Ensure storage, packaging and handling procedures meet security and conservation standards for high‑value items; liaise with security teams as required.
- Collaborate with retail, ateliers, procurement and after‑sales teams to schedule transfers, manage urgent requests and support special projects or events.
- Supervise third‑party logistics providers and evaluate service levels, contracts and costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, transport or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in logistics, inventory management or supply‑chain operations — experience with high‑value, luxury or jewellery products strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with WMS/ERP (SAP experience advantageous) and advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities under strict security protocols.
- Knowledge of export/import procedures, Incoterms and basic customs compliance.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or high‑value inventory.

At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in logistics or inventory management, preferably within the luxury goods, jewellery or other high‑value product sectors; demonstrable use of ERP/WMS systems and interaction with carriers and customs procedures.
Education
